Congrats to our buddy Turk on getting the first TRS 250 Xtrack electric start model - We had to hold off shipping ours because of the snow storms, so we will have to wait for a full report from Turk - One thing is for sure - this model will be in big demand but also limited.

Yup still snowing in Vernon - more tomorrow & Sunday - THEN -20 for Monday -22 Tuesday etc - nice.

The last Cross Country Race I ever rode - It was in Kelowna, and I won the Danny Amor Memorial Trophy on a YZ 125.

They got a lot of snow on Crowfoot Mountain this year - but this was taken in September a few years ago - a bit of fun riding across the huge drift at about 6,000 feet.

Meet Sheryl Thorne from Kelowna, who just picked up a nice new TRS Xtrack E-start from Outlaw Dave. - This is her first bike and she tells me she is 64 years old - Way to go Sheryl.

I think we could caption this "Cabin Fever" - Spring is a long time coming in Revelstoke BC.

Just got word that Bernie Blomer ( seated on bike) passed away last night - He was 89 and lived in Alberta. - He was a very good Scrambles rider back in the 1950's and is pictured at the Oswestry track with local club members. ( He was also my brother in law) RIP Bernie.

A bit of History found today in my files - We had to cancel the Outlaw Trial this year because of the Pandemic - the first break since it began in 1986. -The event has been held at Scotch Creek for the last few years. - We look forward to 2021.

Ted Pepperdine at Panorama BC in 1970 - He is on one of the early Yamaha DT 360's - these bikes were very popular and started a big boom in Off Road sales, for the Japanese Factory.

Just received the latest issue of this Canadian Mag: with some very good articles and even a bit of a story on me ( Which I was not expecting - a few errors, but it was fun being out with Emily - she rides the Trials bikes and others really well)

The forecast was good so we took advantage of a great day in the Okanagan Valley - No snow but a keen wind off the lake - I was glad of the Welsh "Muffler" that Taff gave me.

Just came across this while sorting some old stuff - it was printed in one of the US Motorcycle Mags, back in 1972 after I made my first visit to the Scottish Six Days - Yes it left quite an impression on me.

Back in 1986, we decided to run a "One off" Outlaw Trial at East Kelowna. - To add to the fun, we erected this " Pub" on top of one of the hills, and carried a bunch of beer up the day before. In 1988 I was invited to attend the local Kelowna TV Studio to do a segment on Trials with the Sportscaster -( Pat? ) - I think this was prior to one of our Outlaw Trials, so I took along Barry's Fantic to explain what the sport was all about ( I remember being very nervous as this was my first time on live TV) - They sent me this card as a keepsak

January 1999 and we were out testing the new Bultaco - the first one in Canada.

No snow in Vernon - but quite cold & driveway was a bit slick - We now have ice on the Lake.

This is our daughter Helen - when she was likely about 14, - zipping down the back alley at our home in Airdrie Alberta. - This was a very long time ago when we had both kids riding dirt bikes. - Our weekends back then, were spent in the Foothills West of Calgary - happy family times. Helen now has two grown up daughters - Stevie has one daughter
